Anti-abortion activists rejoiced outside the Supreme Court as the landmark Roe v. Wade decision of 1973 was overturned. Five conservative justices agreed to overturn a lower court’s ruling that blocked Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban, which was filed by the state’s last remaining abortion clinic.
