花王 その他 Kagami / real-time face generator ‘kagami / Real-Time Face Generator’ is an installation featuring a 3D mirror capable of replicating a person’s face in three dimensions. ‘kagami’ means mirror in Japanese. A face is scanned to generate 3D modeling data, and around 5,000 rods are moved forward by a motor, creating a 3D face. The face then becomes a canvas for electric makeup art projected onto its surface to the theme of ‘Kacho Fugetsu’ (beauties of nature in Japanese). This is a collaborative work between WOW and Kao Corporation. Nobumichi Asai (WOW) acted as creative and technical director. Noboru Tomizawa oversaw the makeup art and music was provided by hatis noit 顔を生成する「立体鏡」インスタレーション「kagami / Real-Time Face Generator」。 顔をスキャンするとコンピュータ上に生成される3Dモデルデータに基づき、約5000本のロッドがモーターにより押し出され、立体的な「顔」が造り出される。そこに、「花鳥風月」をテーマにしたメイクアップアートがプロジェクションされる。 本作は、花王株式会社のプロジェクトチームとWOWがコラボレーションして制作。浅井宣通氏（WOW）がクリエイティブ＆テクニカル・ディレクターを務め、メイクアップ・アートは冨沢ノボル氏、音楽はHatis-noitが担当。 WEBサイトはこちら＞ https://vimeo.com/186075392?cid=jp_others_YT_63E630FE-A2C5-4F58-8214-BA579322A015
