Today we will share our best mature-skin makeup tips, designed to clarify and simplify your daily makeup routine even though your skin may be changing. Primer: Always start your mature makeup routine using a primer. This helps your foundation go on smoothly and helps your overall makeup look last much longer. (using smash box photo finish) Apply evenly u0026 disperse on your face. 2. Color Corrector: Next, I’m using a Color corrector. This will help brighten dark circles or correct any unwanted redness. Purple will brighten dark circles. Green will counteract redness or blemishes. Creamy consistent is key. A little goes a long way 3. Foundation: Using Estee Lauder double wear foundation u0026 Dr. Jart bb disapore. Disperse foundation evenly around face and blend into skin in small circular motion. (Don’t forget to blend with your neck) be sure to apply product lightly so that it doesn’t settle into smile lines and wrinkles more. 4. Concealer: We are using Tarte shape tape in shade light. Applying concealer after foundation is a personal preference but it does show up more when you use it over foundation. You must set it with powder if used over foundation. Apply under eye, between eyebrows, on nose, and chin. Use a small compact brush or a beauty blender to blend concealer. 5. Setting Powder: Next set your concealer and foundation with a setting powder. (We are using Laura Mercier translucent loose setting powder.) use a loose brush and bake in under your eyes around your nose and chin. Baking is setting loose powder and letting it absorb into wet concealer and foundation, this technique is great for hiding wrinkles and helping your mature skin makeup stay in place all day. 6. Bronzer: (We are Using Anastasia Beverly Hills.) Apply with a flexible brush starting under the chin creating a shadow, apply under the cheek bone blending upward and outward, and around hair line to warm up the face. Blend in fully with a compact brush (upwards and outwards.) 7. Eyebrows: Using Anastasia Beverly hills brow definer in color soft brown. Take the spool side and brush all eyebrows up. As you get Older eyebrows thin out; using something to fill them in can help them look natural and full. Start in the middle going outwards in small strokes creating the shape you want. Be sure not to over fill the internist corner, they are naturally sparser. A great way to make your eyebrows look even better is to use Ulta Beauty brow highlighting pencil in color “pearl”. Apply above the brow and just below the brow to hide any spare hairs that you may have not had time to wax or tweeze. Be sure to blend. 8. Eyeshadow: For a Simple Eyeshadow we are using glossier lid star in color “slip”. This is a very natural eyeshadow that will open and brighten your eye without having to spend a long time doing your eyeshadow. Blend with a small compact brush. 9. Blush: Next is blush using Morphe 8c cool pro blush palette (using color it girl and free) start applying on the apple of your cheek and flick it out. Be sure to blend up and out. 10. Lip gloss: we are using Dior lip maximizer in color rosewood. Using a lip plumper as you get older will help you have a full lip while still looking natural. This is a great mature makeup look! 11. Product Tips: As your skin matures it is best to stay away from shimmering products, this can draw attention to wrinkles and make your mature skin look older. Avoid using darker colors on mature eyes, lighter colors help you stay looking young while darker can create wrinkles and make you look tired. Be sure to apply mascara so that you are pushing the spooly up and outwards to open up your eye. For a bigger more Lucius lash you can apply Lancôme monsieur big mascara.
