INFO:

Restless legs syndrome or RLS is a neurologic disorder in which unpleasant sensations are experienced in the legs with an urge to move or shake the legs to find relief. Symptoms usually occur while lying down and often interfere with sleep. The condition is more common in women and with increasing age. There are two types of RLS, one that begins during childhood and appears to run in families and a non-hereditary type that begins after the age of 45.
